The Music Maker sits at the celestial keys
Bringing her a faded memory
The perfect song to fill her mind
The only one he could find
To fit her heart as it sits and waits
Bringing in the focus of the lover’s fates
The music of the night her only dream
Invisible tears as her mind screams

The Music Maker sits at the celestial keys
A place in time he begins to freeze
He fills the man’s empty soul
With the only song that makes it whole
A slight smiles spreads across his tired face
As the music takes him to another time and place

The Music Maker sits at the celestial keys
Playing the notes of destiny
He sends his music in times of joy in times of need
He lets the music take the lead
Some of love and some of pain
Keeping us whole, keeping us sane

The Music Maker sits at the celestial keys
And he will always hear our silent pleas
Letting the music fill our minds
Even when it’s not so kind
For he knows the song to fit the mood
To help us feel alive and renewed
The comfort he brings is his only reward
As each song plays it’s last chord
Never tired he never fails
As he spins his musical tales
Like a friend waiting in the wings
To be there when we need to sing
