Extreme Writing Now is excited to announce the site’s the first [intlink id="442" type="category"]contest[/intlink] of 2011. This contest will be a Poetry Slam and will be judged in the FaceBook Fans’ Choice format that we have used before. This is a member’s only event.

Post your poetry, one entry per member, at the site using the Poetry Slam category, between January 10, 2011 and January 29, 2011 to be eligible for the winning prize of Ezra Pound’s Early Writings: Poems and Prose, a Penguin Classics publication. Voting will be conducted at the EWN FaceBook Fan Page with the winner having the most ‘likes’ and being announced on the January 29, 2011 EWNN BTR radio show.

The theme for this contest is open and please, only submit previously unpublished poetry.
