Wow, seems just like yesterday we started theBuilding A Short Story series with our 55 word piece, the Heart of the Hound, but it has been five weeks.

The series makes its last stop in flash fiction city tomorrow, June 18th, as we take a big step from 440 to 880 words. Yup, we have come a long way since our opening55 word fiction piece.

If you are just coming on board, we are building a short story by starting with a micro-fiction 55 worder and rewriting that piece with the stipulation of doubling the word count at each rewrite until we reach the short story requirements.
