Tomorrow, June 25th, 2010, our series, Building A Short Story, leaves the world of flash fiction and takes its first step into the fronteer of short stories. What started out as a 55 word fiction morsel will be officially a short story by this time tomorrow as we step from 880 words and blast to 1760.

Just in case you have not been following along, Carrie and I are building a short fiction piece by starting with a micro-fiction tale and rewriting by doubling the word count. We are into week six and saying good-bye to the flash world and hello to the wonders of short storydom.
