Of these 25, I’ve read Bob Dylan’s Chronicles (#1), Dreams from my Father (#3), Tuesdays with Morrie (#5), An Unquiet Mind (#12), It’s Not About the Bike (#18), I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (#21), A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius (#23), and Lucky (#24).

To tell you the truth, I was really surprised I had read so many of them but I really like reading about people. My favorites were Genius, Caged Bird, and Chronicles.

I have not read a single one of those on the list (not too surprising), but I did recently listen to the George Carlin audio version of Last Words. Highly entertaining (not too surprising) and quite revealing. I got the feeling that he was a wee bit bitter that some celebrities were given credit for ideas he had.

I also learned a few things about my hometown of Dayton because his wife was born here. Interesting things that may play out in a story line…
