Bird on a Wire

“Baby sing me a song, ‘bout a bird on a wire” his eyes sweetly pleaded, though she was so tired.

She grabbed the guitar, but he’d broke all the strings.“Reconciliation, my little bird sings”,

he said with a smirk, you could say he’s a jerk- but love makes you do some damn desperate things.

By day I'm a mommy, a wife, a CEO and eco-warrior. I've committed my entire company, and my life, to creating a better future. By night, well, I should probably BE committed. Nonsensical writing, reading, brainstorming, guitar mangling, & Zep jamming ensues...never really serious about ANY of it. The last time I got serious about creative writing, I was 12 years old. Better late than never? Lucky the "SS Extreme Writing Now" came along to help me focus. Clutching to this safe-harbor, I am free to feed my fiction addiction. Ah, sweet relief!!!
